BloxFrames is a free Windows tool that removes Roblox's 60-frame cap and tunes performance flags so your frame rate stays steady during fights instead of tanking when effects pile up. Download, pick a preset, click once—that's it.
Roblox ships with conservative defaults: a hard 60-frame cap, lighting that eats GPU power, and render settings that bleed performance the moment a raid kicks off. Your laptop might hold 100 FPS on an empty baseplate, then plummet to the teens the second combat starts. That's not a hardware problem—it's Roblox choosing stability over responsiveness.
BloxFrames rewrites the exact FastFlag values Roblox already honours internally. You're not hacking or injecting anything. You're telling Roblox to use its own performance knobs: uncap the frame limit, swap the lighting model, pick a render backend that doesn't tank when 20 players spawn at once. The result is frames that don't just spike—they hold steady under real load.
Most boosters are bloated launchers that promise miracles and deliver marginal gains. BloxFrames is the opposite: lightweight, one-click, no promises beyond what the engine itself can do on your rig.
BloxFrames ships with four tuned profiles. Start with High FPS if your laptop runs warm or your GPU is older than five years. Pick Ultra FPS if you want maximum frames and your hardware can handle it.
Ultra FPS uncaps the frame limit entirely (up to 360 or unlimited), switches to Vulkan for raw throughput, strips MSAA, post-processing, and shadows, and drops lighting to Voxel—the leanest option. Expect a visual hit, but Blox Fruits mid-combat stops stuttering.
High FPS uncaps to 144 FPS, keeps D3D11 as a fallback if Vulkan misbehaves, uses ShadowMap lighting for the middle ground, and leaves MSAA on. Balanced and Quality tiers are there if you want prettier visuals at the cost of frames.
Every preset also clears Roblox's cache (temp files, logs, old assets) and bumps the live Roblox process to high CPU priority, so background apps don't steal frame pacing during raids.
BloxFrames edits a single plain-text config file inside your local Roblox folder: 'ClientAppSettings.json'. It's the same official hook that Bloxstrap and the broader Roblox FastFlag community use. Nothing is injected into the game client, no memory is patched, and no background service runs after you close the app.
The flags are checked against Roblox's current set—if the engine no longer recognizes a value, it's skipped. That's why the Reset Flags button is instant: there's nothing lingering except a config file. Hit reset and you're back to vanilla Roblox immediately.
Roblox honours these flags internally. The game doesn't know or care that you wrote them—it just reads the file and applies the settings, the same way it would if you'd tweaked them in-game (if those options existed in the UI, which they don't).
